What we collect, why, and how it's protected.
BOMKGPL operates gym management software. This policy explains how we handle data for the gyms who use BOMKGPL and for their members whose information passes through it.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to two groups: the gyms and chains who hold a BOMKGPL account, and the members of those gyms whose data a gym records in BOMKGPL. Each gym is the primary custodian of its members' data; BOMKGPL processes that data on the gym's behalf to deliver the service.
What we collect
- Account information for gym staff, names, work email, and role.
- Member records a gym enters, contact details, membership and plan status.
- Operational activity, check-ins, class bookings, attendance, and logged training progress.
- Payment records, what was charged, when, and whether it succeeded. Card and bank credentials are handled by our payment providers, not stored by us in raw form.
How we use it
We use this data only to run the features a gym has signed up for, recording check-ins, scheduling classes, processing renewals, generating training plans, and producing the churn-risk and performance insights that are the point of the product. We do not sell member data, and we do not use it to advertise to members.
Churn-risk scoring
A core feature scores how likely a member is to lapse, using patterns such as attendance drop-off and payment delays. These scores are indicative prompts for gym staff, not judgments about a member. A gym controls whether and how it acts on them.
How long we keep it
Member data is retained for as long as the gym keeps an active account, plus a limited period afterward for records that law or accounting requires. When a gym closes its account, member data is removed on a defined schedule agreed during off-boarding.
How it's protected
- Data is encrypted in transit between members, staff, and BOMKGPL.
- Access is scoped by role, so staff see only what their job requires.
- Payment credentials are handled by dedicated, established payment processors.
Member rights
Members who want to access, correct, or remove their data should contact their gym, which controls the record. Where BOMKGPL processes data directly, we will support the gym in honoring these requests in line with applicable law.
